Ljugarns fishing-guide

Gotland is an island unique for angler. There more than 400 miles of coastline with free fishing of salmon trout, salmon, pike perch and cod as well as herring, flounder, turbot, garfish, whitefish ide and eel.
The eastern coast with shallow beaches, bays and islands has a bttom of rocks, stones, sand and mud, covered with kelp and sea weed; a perfect setting for pike, perch and other white-meat fish.


Ljugarn From Visby road 143 towards Ljugarn, about 45 km. Drive right ahead along Storvägen to the harbour, where you paark.
Angling area From the harbour, to the south along the coast to Svajde. To the north to Folhammar. Fishing-ground Coastfishing with wading. To the south, shallowly with sand and kelp.
